This eagle was located on the grounds of the former Mary Immaculate Friary. The estate is now owned by the Capuchin Seminary.

The eagle and ball had been sprayed with some kind of gray paint. This eagle was very difficult to get to having to walk through thick woods to even find it. It overlooked the Hudson River, which was probably the best place to look at it - from a boat on the river.

Metro North acquired and rescued this eagle in early 2001 and in August of 2001 Architectural Iron Company was awarded a contract to restore this second eagle.
